For some reason, every time I have a few drinks I feel the urge to scale things and sit on them. A couple of times this has won me bets & drinks and stuff, but most of the time it's just a strange fascination. I even managed to climb a telegraph pole back in Warrington over Christmas (no easy feat, if anyone has ever tried). At UMIST though they have lots of nice monuments which are just asking to be climbed. The only one that has defeated me so far is the Vimto one. All the rest, I provide you with (drunken) photographic evidence.
