May!??! - The most surreal month

Okay folks.. here's the story... you will NEVER understand or appreciate it really unless you're either me or Jim, so don't worry. I will do my best to explain it, and mebbe you can understand how it could be considered quite amusing. I'll set the scene...

Scene setting quick reference table...
SceneSanity Rating
Maths...(bad)
Monday morning (always bad)
April.. (could be worse)
Bone's lesson... (No, KILL ME NOW PERLEEASE!!)

Anyways, we (myself and Jim, the nutter) are sat in the lesson being bored as usual. We're just generally taking the piss outta bone, like we always did. I wus chewing a setsquare (I keep wanting to say protractor - god knows why) and Jim wus chewing a pen or summat.... In fact, I think it wus Jim's setsquare he'd given me to chew.. and I wus nibbling the pointy end (it wus a pointy ended 30, 60, 90 setsquare, not a 45, 45, 90, that hurt when they hit you in the face) and I wus rubbing it against my nose as well... jus generally fidgetting with it.

The view from out seat was exactly the view in the photo, with the smug git grinning like an idiot, and moaning that we never did any work, and we used to sit there taking the piss outta him. Anyway, he suddenly starts moaning about how close the exams are, and we're like "Yeah, yeah yeah" and grinning like idiots.. I wus still chewing my protractor... The conversation went something like:

BONE: You don't seem to care about maths...

JIM (muttering): That's right, we couldn't care less...

BONE: You don't do enough work...

ME AND JIM: That's right..

BONE: And there's not many lessons left...

ME (to Jim): Tragedy!

BONE: And your exams start in May...

ME: MAY!??!

Jim burst out laughing, and nearly fell off his chair... He said it was the most surreal moment of his life, a madman saying MAY!??! like that... oh - erm.. and I did look a bit unusual. We've recreated the scene... I looked something like this : May!??!
